We are excited to announce that Dean Havelock will join our VMBA office team as the Marketing and Communications Coordinator!
Growing up in Connecticut, Dean took to a weekend warrior mindset early to play outside as much as possible. Bikes have been at the forefront of his love for the outdoors, dating back to following his dad around the local state park with training wheels. These early memories have evolved into a love for everything under the sun including all shapes of cycling, skiing both on and off piste, trail running across the country’s high peaks, and climbing rocks local to his home in Stowe.
He took to the mountains, moving to Vermont to pursue a degree in Marketing at the University of Vermont. Over the years Dean has gained experience in the outdoor industry managing the lease program at the Alpine Shop, wrenching and writing for Ranch Camp & MTBVT, and snow reporting at Mad River Glen.
We are stoked to have Dean take over the Marketing and Communication reins here at VMBA. Be sure to give a warm welcome when you see him out on trail!
