It's More Than Just Riding

Get Involved

Bear Cieri

No one’s stopping you from showing up, riding trails, then busting a move home. But we’re pretty sure every ride is better in the company of friends—and that trails ride better when you help build them.

Get involved with a local VMBA Chapter by lending a hand. Chapters welcome volunteers of all ages and abilities to pitch in at trail-building days (no experience necessary!), to help organize an event, or serve on a Chapter Board. Get in touch with your local Chapter to learn more on how you can volunteer, then don’t forget to log your hours for our Reward Volunteers program. We offer monthly raffles for those that dig in to make a difference this year. Every volunteer hour gets you another chance to win some sweet prizes from our partners.

There are other ways to be involved too! Get involved as a VMBA Partner, donate, be a VMBA Ambassador, or stop by the VMBA tent at an event. All these ways help make Vermont’s amazing mountain bike community and a better place to ride for everyone.

We Need You

Best way to be involved? Become a VMBA Member. Your membership supports trail building, maintenance, and grants. Members receive member benefits that include downhill mountain bike tickets plus discounts at bike shops, trail networks, restaurants, and hotels statewide. It’s also the best way for riders to stand up and be counted in policy considerations affecting mountain bikers at the local and state levels.

Velomont

The Green Mountains are home to some of the best mountain biking in the world. Our Chapters, alongside numerous other trail groups across the state, have created pockets of singletrack bliss. While each network has its own flair, they all lack one key element – connectivity.

Landowners

Over 75% of Vermont's trails are on private land. We wouldn't be where we are today without the support of our landowners.
