Log your volunteer hours, Win a Specialized Bike!

Reward Volunteers

Conor Barry

Without the hard work of our volunteers, we would not have the trails that we all love to ride. As a way to say THANK YOU to all the volunteers that lend a hand to Chapters, one volunteer will win a Specialized Enduro Expert, courtesy of Specialized, Family Farmers of Cabot Creamery, and Skirack! When you log your volunteer hours at rewardvolunteers.coop, every volunteer hour you log for a VMBA Chapter is worth one entry to win.

Winner chooses any size of the 2021 Specialized Enduro Expert. Our fine friends at Skirack will help you order, and their pros will build the bike.  The more hours you volunteer for a Chapter and log, the more chances to win. Additionally, when you log hours, both you and your Chapter are eligible for other monthly prizes, including CASH for your Chapter to continue all of their hard work building and maintaining trails.

How to log your hours:

  1. Go to rewardvolunteers.coop and login or sign up
  2. On your profile, select “Log Your Time”
  3. Search for either your chapter or “Vermont Mountain Bike Association”
  4. Enter in the date, hours, and the type of your volunteer work
  5. Select “Vermont Mountain Bike Association” from the Organization list
  6. Click “Report”
  7. All hours due by November 18, 2020 11:59PM EST.

Please note, you must select “Vermont Mountain Bike Association” from the organization list or else your hours will not be counted in the raffle. IMPORTANT: Hours must be logged within 7 days of work being performed.

Join us on Nov. 19 at 6:30PM for our 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting! Hear what has happened in 2020, updates from Chapters’ trail projects, and who will win the Reward Volunteers bike! Learn more here. Please note, you do not have to be present to win, though it is highly encouraged that you attend. Thank you!

What does a volunteer hour entail?

Great question! You can enter any volunteer activity that is connected to a VMBA chapter. For example, any trail work, fundraisers, tabling, administrative tasks, etc. can be counted as a volunteer hour if it has to do with a VMBA Chapter. So…log your hours today and you could be the owner of a sweet new Specialized Enduro Expert!

How do I figure out where I can volunteer?

Chapters will post regular updates regarding their trail days and other volunteer opportunities through social media. You can also keep an eye on our Events page. Finally, reach out to your local Chapter directly if you are wanting to learn more about their volunteer opportunities.

What if you missed the 7 day window?!

No problem! We strongly encourage all our volunteers to log your hours within 7 days at www.rewardvolunteers.coop , but we understand time gets away from us. If you have not yet logged your hours and it’s beyond 7 days, please email [email protected] with the date, number of hours, Chapter & type of volunteer work (trail work, fundraising, tabling, etc.).

For more information, please feel free to email [email protected]. Thank you!
