The new Killington Mountain Bike Club is off a strong start. Seth Webb and Amy Morrison with the Town have helped rally local riders and businesses around a new trail project in Gifford Woods State Park. Rich McCoy at Killington Resort is working closely with the new group and is excited about the possibilities of connecting all areas of town with new trails. Local rider and chapter VP Philip Black is leading the charge with the riding community serving VMBA’s “go to” for chapter operations. Nate Fruend at Sushi Yoshi will be hosting the new chapters first major event on March 16th – a fat bike ride in town ending at his establishment for food and drinks. “I wanted to help support the new chapter’s outreach efforts with the community – there’s potential here for something very special” said Fruend. Don’t forget – all VMBA members get a free DH pass to Killington’s sweet downhill trails and a 2 for 1 ski pass! Here’s more info on the upcoming event:
