Fat Biking in the News

It’s been a challenging winter for snow based operations in Vermont. As many riders understand, warm temperatures means soft trails that should be avoided regardless of tire width. Soft trails creates puddles, which freeze and hold water. As things warm up later this spring and more riders are eager to get out on their bikes, these areas become maintenance issue for VMBA chapters. Cold temps on the the other hand leads to great winter riding with or without snow. All riders in every season are encouraged to check on trail conditions before riding. This little step incorporated into your riding routine will lead to more awesome riding as chapters spend less time fixing damaged trails and more time building you sweet new ones. VMBA recently had a chance to connect with WCAX about trail conditions across the state.  Check it out.
