The Gear House
We are central Vermont’s newest full-service bike shop and outdoor gear store. In the center of downtown Randolph, at 16 Pleasant Street, our location is an ideal meeting point for cyclists, skiiers, hikers, snowshoers, and any other outdoor adventurist. Many trails are within walking distance of the municipal lot next to the shop, and a summertime outdoor seating area and wash station is the perfect spot to hang out.
The shop has a number of bikes of all disciplines on display as well as cycling equipment and accessories. There is also a constantly rotating inventory of used clothing and gear, and we have access to top brand backpacking and camping equipment as well as winter apparel. We make a point to support and work alongside local businesses and represent multiple apparel manufacturers from central Vermont.
Our building is also home to ROC‘s outdoor hub. With large 3-d printed topographical maps and trail info for the entire state of Vermont, the hub should be your first resource for planning any outdoor adventure. Check out their website for more info on weekly bike rides, youth activities, trail building days, and other fun events.
Check out other pages on our site for tune-ups and service prices, what brands of gear we carry, our past and future events, and more. Better yet, stop by the shop and say hi!
