VMBA Days at Stratton Presented by Lawsons Finest Liquid

The VMBA Days series is coming back for its fourth season with some new great additions. The first and largest is that Lawsons Finest Liquids is supporting the series. We’re excited to welcome back the title sponsor from our first season!
For DH, we are bringing back our ‘New to DH’ and ‘New to the Resort’ group rides. These will be led by Resort & VMBA Ambassadors. At each stop we will also have a Community Builder partner that will lead their own group rides and receive a portion of the day of raffle. Not only do you get a chance to win the rad items below, you will be supporting two great organizations!
At each stop of the series, we will also be hosting a fun activity specific to that resort, ranging from timed races, dual slalom, Strava races, and more. After everyone gets their riding in, Lawsons will be hosting an on-site Apres and providing a limited amount of beverages to raffle ticket purchasers. During the Apres, we will also pull the winners of the raffle! .
Please see below for a full breakdown of the activities, timing, prizes, and other rad things we have in the works for each stop. With limited space available, make sure to secure your spot on a ride. If you can’t make this stop, make sure to look below for our other dates.

DH Rides (Make sure to get your Tickets! – the $5 ticket is to make sure you’ll show up and you’ll be provided with a free $5 free ticket when you check in):
New to DH: if you’re used to riding single track and want to get more time descending. There is nothing like some downhill laps to perfect your riding. Also riding a lift is not bad at all!
New to Resort: This ride is for folks who have dabbled into DH already or want to try a new resort. Have the VMBA ambassadors show you around and show you their favorite trails.
Lawsons Party Lap: This ride is for everybody. Depending on the size we will break into groups that fit their riding ability. Then send it down with VMBA & Lawson’s ambassadors to the Apres and raffle pull!

Resort Activity: To start the morning off Stratton will be hosting the Tour De Glaze! The Tour De Glaze is Stratton’s most fun and flavor-packed mountain bike event of the summer. This timed cross-country race includes a sugary twist: for every donut you eat during the race, we’ll knock 2 minutes off your total time.
Racers will climb the new “Ground Control” trail (1 mile, 650 ft gain) and descend the flowy “Trail Forest 1” green trail. Each lap totals about 2.5 miles.
Evening Concert! Stratton Mountain Music summer series rocks on with Red Not Chili Peppers. A band who has developed one of the largest die-hard followings in the world by transcending four decades of chart-topping success. Combining nostalgic hits, full throttle energy, and virtuosic performances, the Red Nots channel the raging party that has given the Chili Peppers international acclaim and regal rock and roll status. The outdoor stage is to jam at 6:30PM, with doors opening at 6PM.
Concert Tickets should be purchased online. Doors 6PM, Music 6:30PM. Ticket prices are below. Kids 3 & Under are free but must be seen at ticket window to receive their free ticket. Concert is rain or shine.
