Please remember that Del’s Ride is not a race. Rather, it is a chance to ride some of Chittenden County’s best trail networks with support along the way. Although there will be support along the way (water, snacks, etc.), make no mistake, this is a long and difficult ride. The route is almost entirely single track, with many challenging descents and accents. Overall, you will climb over 3300 feet during the ride, much of it on technical switchbacks. Riders must be prepared for a strenuous 4-7 hour ride. A well tuned bike, hydration packs, tools, and a light are highly recommended.
The start will be a rolling start from 12:00 to 12:30. The parking lot at Sleepy Hollow will be open at 11:30. Upon arrival participants will be required to check in and sign a release form so please bring your ID. Upon completion of the ride there will be a BBQ. It is important to note that riders without a light and who are still on the course as night approaches will be pulled from the course.
