VMBA is collaborating with NEXT Cycling to support mountain biking in Vermont. Starting later this summer NEXT will be rolling out the new carbon “VMBA” wheel set designed for the best riding in the east! Every VMBA wheelset purchased will translate into $400 going straight to the chapter trail building grant. “VMBA is excited to partner with NEXT and further support the amazing work of the chapters,” says Tom Stuessy.
Hand built in Vermont, NEXT is eager to make an impression with the new product on riders everywhere – not just in Vermont. Jerry Chabot, President and CEO of NEXT said, “NEXT is thrilled to be able to support the trail networks via the chapter grant program. NEXT puts all the proceeds of our sales back into cycling development and advocacy, paying it forward for the next generation of cyclists. Partnering with VMBA to help fund their strong work with land access and trail building initiatives right in our backyard fits perfectly within that framework. NEXT also sponsored a free set of wheels for one lucky member. The winner will be drawn at the festival at Mt. Ellen on the 22-24th. Jerry went on to share, “We recognize that supporting the trails means that everyone is doing their part and value riders’ participation in membership. This was our way to show our appreciation to the members.”
