Winterbike 2021
February 7, 2021 - March 7, 2021
$30 – $50The 10th Annual Winterbike Fatbike Festival on Kingdom Trails is happening!
It’s Just a little different…
Lyndonville, Vermont: For 9 years Mountain Bike Vermont (MTBVT) and The Kingdom Trail Association (KTA) have combined forces to bring you the Winterbike Fatbike Festival on Kingdom Trails. “The thought of canceling such a beloved event was heartbreaking! However, we realize that the traditional format of a day filled with games, group rides and vendor merriment would not fall within the current COVID-19 guidelines and would put the festival goers at an unacceptable risk of exposure.” Said Ryan Thibault of MTBVT.
With that in mind, MTBVT and KTA dug deep to craft a new, socially distanced format that preserves the spirit of the event and offers fatbike enthusiasts something to look forward to during these challenging times. “We feel that it is important to be able to provide these types of recreational opportunities , while encouraging responsible tourism.” Says KTA’s Lilias Ide.
Winterbike this year will be offered as a self serve package that provides the trail experience and vibe that Winterbike lovers have come to expect. Registrants will receive a limited edition Winterbike 2021 poster and T-shirt, a 2 day KTA membership, access to gps coordinates for designated Winterbike loops on the KTA trail network, and a voucher for a meal at a local eatery close to the trails. The package can be redeemed at any point between February 7 to March 7, 2021.
Tshirts and posters are currently in production, and will be mailed to participants when ready.
