All gender categories will start and race at the same time. Podiums and scoring are by gender category (girl, boy, gender diverse/non-binary).

Please choose carefully and race within the same category for the series. If necessary, one category change is allowed per season with the Race Director’s approval.

Staging

First race TBD. Call-ups for the remaining races will be done based on cumulative points from the 2022 season.

Scoring

Series Podiums
Will be held at the last race of the season. Series podiums follow the same categories as the race podiums.

  • Best 3 out of 4 races will count for the individual series points competition

  • This allows an athlete to miss one race and still challenge for the series

  • In the event of a tie, points from the 4th race will be used as a tie breaker

Team points

  • Will be a total of all 4 races

  • Four highest score by individual team members will be counted toward the team score.

  • Team score must be from at least two gender categories. Gender categories are boy, girl, and gender diverse/non-binary. If a team is comprised of just one gender category, only the top 3 scores will be counted.

Scoring Points Chart, click here

  • First place receives the maximum points.  This is 500 for the 5/6th grade, C, and B categories and 505 for the A category.  Points for each successive place are reduced successively by 10, 9, 8, etc. points until a differential of 3 points is reached between 8th and 9th place.  The 3 point decrease per place continues as needed to the end of the field of riders.

  • If you change categories, then 90% of the points of the one race will be transferred for staging and series scoring.
