Parks Commission Talks Mountain Biking!

MAMBA Advocacy Alert: Parks Commission needs to hear about your experience biking in North Branch!
Mountain biking is on the agenda for the Tuesday, November 19th 6:00PM meeting of the Montpelier Parks Commission at the Montpelier Police Department conference room. The agenda includes the North Branch, winter biking access and the pump track projects.
NOW is the time to email the Parks Commission. Copy your district’s City Councilor too – a directory is available HERE. It’s important for the commissioners and City Council to know that people in Montpelier support mountain biking in Montpelier parks!
In your message, consider sharing the following points:
- Thank the Parks Commission for the new trails and last year’s winter biking access.
- Express your support for finishing the North Branch project, winter access, and a pump track.
- Be specific! Let them know how you and your family have used the trails, share a memory or an experience you’ve had on our local trails, or at a pump track somewhere in Vermont or elsewhere.
