Birds, Trails, and Forestry Walk: How Are They Connected?

June 1 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

You know and love Cady Hill Forest for its trails, but have you ever considered what other aspects of the forest are important? Join us on Saturday, June 1st from 8:00am – 10:00am for a guided walk through Cady Hill to learn about the birds and changing habitat within the forest. Audubon Vermont‘s Steve Hagenbuch will be our fearless leader, co-hosted with the Vermont Woodlands Association. We’ll talk about what makes a healthy bird habitat, sustainable forestry practices, and how the two intersect with the recreational use of the land and forest. Meet us at the Substation parking lot off of Cady Hill Road at 8:00am for this two-hour stroll. This is a family-friendly event, and questions are encouraged! We’ll see you there!
