Build Trails and Win A Bike

Volunteer at a VMBA chapter Trail Day & Win a Bike!

It’s really that easy.  We all know that without the work of volunteers our community and riding wouldn’t be nearly as special.  We all come together around a passion for mountain biking and as a community work to make the sport and scene better for everybody.  Whether it’s trail cleaning and maintenance or getting involved as an event volunteer and ambassador – the small acts of volunteerism in our community make us who we are.

For every hour you log as a chapter trail day volunteer, you’re automatically entered to win a $5,000+ mountain bike. You choose model size and color. Huge thanks to Ski Rack for partnering with VMBA and Cabot on this opportunity.

There is another way your volunteerism can benefit riding: Cold hard cash for VMBA chapters.  Head to Reward Volunteers. There you can log your hours spent volunteering and be entered to win prizes, not only for yourself, but for your VMBA chapter.  Create an account and log in, select the chapter you are volunteering for, and log your time – that’s it!

Reward Volunteers was created by the farm families who own Cabot Creamery Co-operative to honor and thank volunteers for the hard work they do in their local communities.  Volunteers come in all shapes and sizes doing any number of things to brighten the lives of others in their local networks, towns, and cities.  Cabot farmers are often the first to volunteer in their community and work to recognize like-minded volunteerism.

Mountain biking is more than just a hobby, it’s your passion. In Vermont, that passion starts with digging in to help create your next favorite ride. An economic driver in our state, drawing people from around the country to our trail systems.  It wouldn’t be what it is without our dedicated volunteers.  Let the farmers’ of Cabot say thanks by logging your time – and winning prizes for your local chapter – or even some cool prizes for yourself.
