Kick off the school riding season with a scrimmage at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center! This is an opportunity for youth riders to try racing in a fun, supportive, and low-stakes environment. This is also your chance to test your fitness and skills heading into summer!

All riders will choose a race category on the morning of the race: 

5th & 6th grade race – race length will be approximately 3-4 miles – 1 lap

Cat C – novice riders – primarily 7th & 8th graders, but open to high schoolers; stronger 5th & 6th graders may race up, same race course as 5th & 6th grade, approximately 3-4 miles – 1 lap

Cat B- intermediate riders – stronger middle school racers and less experienced high school students; approximately 6-8 miles – 2 laps

Cat A – advanced riders – more experienced high school students; approximately 9-12 miles – 3 laps

Please note: this race is hand-timed. There are no awards or podium!
