From the Craftsbury Cycling Development Project:
“We have a team that introduces a lot of riders to MTB. These are not kids coming from families steeped in MTB culture, so they often don’t have riding kit. We used the Team Grant to offset the cost of our tech tee uniform shirt so that everyone on the team could have a “uniform” and feel like they were part of the squad. It’s a small thing, but I do believe uniforming contributes to team culture and pride.”

From Team Sour Patch Girls:
Team Sour Patch Girls, an all-women’s VTYC endurance team had a blast at the 12 Hours of Great Glenn. The VMBA Grant helped these women register for the race, acquire a custom jersey, and race their hearts out! Pushing hard into the night, Evelyn rode the last lap starting at 11:52 and finishing at 1:09am, only six minutes before the cut off time, to secure a 3rd place spot on the junior category podium. The Sour Patch Girls ranked 12th overall in the 12-hour category out of 59 teams! Congratulations to Sage, Greta, Evelyn and Penny!
