ANNUAL MEETING SLIDES

ANNUAL MEETING RECORDING

Alongside updates from our Chapters, we highlighted our 2023 strategic plan and what we have accomplished in the 2023/24 season to reach those goals, as well as introduce our newest Board members and ambassadors and tease our 2024 Bike Raffle!

Board Election

As we brought in a new community member to the VMBA Board of Directors, we couldn’t do so without recognizing our beloved Jeff Dickson, who served on the Board for six years, with a portion of that as the VMBA Board President. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Jeff, for your hard work, dedication, and humor in bringing VMBA into its 3.0 version.

This spring, we had one seat open after Jeff’s departure, and one board member was up for re-election. Though we usually send a vote to the membership to help us decide which exceptional candidates to invite to the Board of Directors, we had one outstanding applicant, Cheryl Brodowski of Burlington. We asked you, the members, to approve this appointment, and with 100% of those who voted to approve, we are excited to welcome Cheryl to VMBA’s Board of Directors.

Our Treasurer and finance guru Curtis Fox of Waterbury, was reelected for his second term with 97% of the vote approving of his reelection.
