For our 28th season, we have over 220 benefits, including deals at some of your favorite bike shops, restaurants near trailheads statewide, health and wellness to ensure you don’t miss a day on your bike this summer, and DH tickets when you want to get that gravity fix with minimal pedaling. We are so lucky to partner with so many unique local businesses as a part of our Member Benefits program that enhances recreation opportunities across the state.
Get your Bike Prepped for The Trails:
Has your bike been hanging in your garage all season? Visit your local bike shop to get it ready for the season ahead. Bootlegger Bikes (multiple 50% off service discounts) and Four Mountain Cycles with (5% labor and 15% suspension deals) are great for a solid start to the season. The deal on the tune helps get the drivetrain and suspension back to proper working order. Then, you can shop around to get all the needed tools to help you on the trail if something arises. Then, you can go to Alpine Bike Works for 15% off clothing/accessories or Hitchhiker Bikes with 20% off Sweet Protection deal to get some new threads and protective gear to keep you safe and looking good on the trail.
Get your Body Prepped for the Trails:
You have your bike prepped for the season ✅, now it’s time to ensure your body is in tip-top shape. Two of our many amazing partners, Burlington PT and Summit Physical Therapy, can not only. They can fit your bike to your riding style. They also offer services to assess where you can improve your mobility and strength. Then, they provide a plan to get your body in a good space to optimize your day out on the trail.
One of the best things about being in Vermont is that there are so many good trails to discover all throughout the state. I highly recommend using your benefit to download Trail Forks Pro to find all the hidden gems. It also gives back money to the chapter of your choice. Once you figure out your riding plan for this season, it’s time to see what lodging deals we have near it. Highland Lodge is a fantastic location in the Kingdom on the shores of Lake Caspian. It’s an excellent, calm location with riding at Craftsbury or Kingdom Trails (where you get a free day ticket to both); Caledonia Trail Collective and Stowe Trail Partnerships are not far away. You can also head to 506 On the River to stay in Woodstock and ride the many excellent trails managed by WAMBA.
If you want to head out beyond the Vermont border, we have some amazing deals. Highland Mountain Bike Park in New Hampshire offers many deals for Current VMBA Members. The legendary Mont Sainte Anne is offering 15% off on both lift tickets and camping. While you’re on your way up North, stop at Wolf Mountain Bike Park for a quick rip before you make up to Mont Sainte Anne and other Quebec Velo De Montage areas.
After all your good rides and trips, you’ll want to end it with tasty food and beverages. Our friends at Folino’s have 3 locations near many FOTW, ACBC, and Catamount Outdoor Center and offer a free cheese pizza (when you buy a side menu item). Skinny Pancake is now offering 15% off any items at its 8 locations across the whole state. Don’t forget the BOGO burger deal at Backyard or the new twist on a classic at Ranch Camp. At Ranch Camp, you can demo the bike of your dreams, and when you return, you will get a free burrito!
The program was started with local brick-and-mortar businesses. We have grown our benefits with national and international brands based on the web. Whether you need a new saw for trail work from Silky Saws (15% Off), new threads from Vermont-based brands like Kaden (15% Off) and SDR Clothing Company (10% Off), or an awesome recycled bag from Birdie Blue (15% Off). We have also been increasing our deal with E*Thirteen to 35% off anything in stock and added PNW Components with 25% Off, Sweet Protection with 10% Off (Which also has a larger deal at local shops), and Loam Pass with 15% Off.
This is just the surface of the 220 benefits we have this season. So if you haven’t, head over and join VMBA today!
