Tour de Trail: Slate Valley Trails

Join Mountain Flyer at our Second Tour de Trail stop this season at Slate Valley Trails in Poultney Vermont on September 3rd at 4 p.m. There, we’ll be running bike demos out of the Fairgrounds trailhead from Scott Sports, Spot Bikes, and Orbea. Demos will be going out in 2 waves with one at 4 p.m. and one at 6 p.m. Our fleet of 20 bikes will be available on a first come first serve basis with bikes for women and men. Demos cost $20 and include a raffle ticket, a subscription to Mountain Flyer, samples form Floyds of Leadville and Gnarly Nutrition and other swag. Throughout the tour we will be running a season-long raffle to benefit VMBA’s trail grant fund and their efforts to enhance the Vermont mountain biking. The raffle has prizes from all of our friends and sponsors and will be drawn at Bolton Valley on Sept 26th. Tickets are $5 and available from Mountain Flyer staff.

3:45 p.m. – demo tent opens
4 p.m. – First wave of bikes heads out
5:55 p.m. – all bikes from the first wave are due back and
6 p.m. – Second wave of bikes heads out

We will be following all State of Vermont Health Department Guidelines and VMBA’s COVID-19 guidelines: Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times. All bikes will be sanitized after each rider, and we will have hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes available for all riders. If you suspect you have symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home.
