October 19 @ 9:30 am - 7:00 pm
Expect an epic October day climbing & descending in and around the Northeast Kingdom over scenic dirt roads, class IV sectors, access trails, grassy farm fields, & singletrack.
Most of the course is rideable, however expect dismounts in order to get over blowdowns, cobblestone, & trenches.
The Hibernator is suited for a gravel/cross rig or a hard tail mountain bike.
Sun, rain, snow, & mud are not out of the question. Dress to impress!
Two incredible course options to choose from – 50k or 100k:
100k+ Course: Featuring upwards of 9,000′ of elevation over varying terrain and offer 2 feed zones. Riders are expected to be mainly self-supported and not reliant on our feed but we got your back if needed! Come prepared to ride at least 4 hours.
50k+ Course: Follows the same start as the 100k and split off, featuring over 5,000′ of elevation and 2 feed zones. Don’t be fooled. Shorter doesn’t mean easier.
Bib pickup starts at 7:00 and rides start at 9:30am with a controlled start.
Bibs can also be picked up the day before between 5:30pm – 7:30pm at the Sherburne Base Lodge.
Each participant receives a delicious post-ride seasonal meal, homemade pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, and celebratory beer at our post-ride party.
