The Fall Flyer Gravel Ride at vTerra Farms – FOTW

October 8, 2023 @ 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Grab your gravel boots and register now for The Fellowship of the Wheel FALL FLYER hosted by vTerra Farms on October 8th from 8:00AM to 4:00PM.

The details:

Choose a ride that suits you: 20, 30, or 53 miles; and enjoy the wonders of autumn in Vermont. Aid stations featuring an array of fall goodies, coffee and other surprises along the way will keep you fueled for this self-led tour of the Champlain Valley. This is a self guided ride with a downloadable route or laminated cue sheets available. Self navigating means you’re on open roads, self-navigating the course and there are no signs along the route! Please come to the event prepared with the route pre-downloaded to your device and we will have additional cue sheets if you would like one. If you don’t know anyone going or don’t like self navigating, no worries, we got you covered. The 20 and 30 mile length rides will offer a no-drop social pace group ride if you prefer to have a guide or ride with company!

Ride Stats:

20 mile ride: 10:30AM Start! 70% gravel road, 30% paved road, 1700ft of elevation gain, 2 aid stations at 5 and 11.6 miles, no class 4 or single track (1 short optional off-road loop at a special aid station!)

30 mile ride: 9:30AM Start! 78% gravel road, 22% paved road, 2355ft of elevation gain, 2 aid stations at 5 and 17 miles, one section of class 4 (plus 1 short optional off-road loop at a special aid station!)

53 mile ride: 8:30AM Start! 81% gravel road, 19% paved road, 4615ft of elevation gain, 3 aid stations at 13, 20 and 35 miles, 3 sections of class 4 (plus 1 short optional off-road loop at a special aid station!)

Included in your entry:

A post-ride beverage, a hot meal, live music from Mal Maïz and the Highbreaks, a lawn full of family-friendly activities, a flannel fashion show and swag from FOTWheel and our sponsors. Bring your family, friends and finest flannel to join in on a celebration of all things fall!
