Join us the evening of Thursday, July 18 for the northeast debut of Alex Showerman’s film Coming Home – a film that explores the power of friendship in finding place, and the joy that comes with creating community.

The gathering will take place at The Ponds at Bolton Valley – about one mile short of the main base area – doors at 6:30 and film screenings beginning around 8pm. There will be tacos, ice cream and raffle. Alex will be in attendance to share some of her experience with the film and we will screen additional films centered on other women and femme identifying folks in Mountain Biking. Event is open to all!Tickets:  $10.  Ticket price includes entry to view the films – food, beverage and raffle tickets are additional on-site night of.

All proceeds from he evening will  support of VMBA’s Major Storm Recovery Fund

Prior to the showing, we are offering a group ride lead by Alex Showerman. This ride will be a mix of blues and single blacks. This ride is free to join but you will need to use your VMBA DH Ticket or purchase a Bolton Valley Lift Ticket (just$25 for a half day ticket good after 3:30pm – buy BV lift ticket now). A lift ticket is NOT included with film screening ticket purchase.

Schedule:
3:50 pm: Get ready for the group ride lead by Alex Showerman! Meet up near the outside bar at the bottom of the Vista Lift.
4:10 pm: Group ride participants head to the Vista Lift.
4:15-6pm: Ride 2 to 3 laps depending on group speed. You can do your own thing too!
6:30-8pm: Join us at The Ponds for tacos and community (and get your raffle tickets!)
8-9:30: Film screenings
