Bikes, Birds, and Beers
June 15, 2023 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pmFree
Is Cady Hill Forest for the birds? It sure is!! After this guided mountain bike ride, some of your favorite ride buddies may just be Scarlet Tanagers, Chestnut-sided Warblers, and Hermit Thrushes.
Join us on Thursday, June 15th from 5:30pm – 7:30pm for a leisurely mountain bike/birding ride through Cady Hill to learn about the many species of birds found here during the summer months and the forest habitat that supports them. Audubon Vermont’s Steve Hagenbuch will be our leader, co-hosted by the Vermont Woodlands Association.
Meet us at the Backyard/Ranch Camp trailhead at 395 Mountain Road at 5:30pm. The ride will be appropriate for mountain bikers with intermediate skill levels (folks just starting out in mountain biking might have a tough time on some of the trails we’ll ride) and questions are encouraged! After the ride, there will be the option to convene at Ranch Camp for socializing while enjoying your favorite apres beverage. Bring your stoke for the birds and we’ll see you there!
