Please join us for a special Trail Day to work toward making Swoops & Loops and Cloud Spin accessible to adaptive mountain bikes. If you have ridden or run in the Vermont 50, or just cheered the competitors on, you were supporting Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports! Now you can help make some of our trails accessible to these very athletes. We will meet at the Swoops parking, across from the State Park entrance on Back Mountain Road (route 44A) at 8:30. We’ll head out from there to widen some tread, pinch points and bridge decks, and to generally make the trails more adaptive mountain bike (aMTB) friendly. We’ll have a bunch of tools, but if you have a screw gun, prybar, shovel, hoe, loppers, bow saw or pick mattock, bring it along, as well as gloves, water, bug repellent, and a snack. At 12:00 we’ll call it a day and meet back at parking for some lunch. See you then.
