2025 Annual Meeting Recap

March 27th, the VMBA Office and Chapters held our Virtual Annual Meeting to share our accomplishments from the 2024/25 season and preview some of the exciting things in store for the year ahead! Huge thanks to all those who joined to learn about initiatives driven by the VMBA office and completed projects from 15 Chapters made possible, at least in part, through Naming and Trail Grant funding.

Didn’t’ have a chance to listen in, or curious to take a look at the materials we walked through? Check out the presentation on our YouTube Channel and/or our Annual Meeting Slides:

Alongside 2024/25 highlights, we shared the results of our Board Elections, announced our 2025 Ambassadors, and teased our upcoming Bike Raffle.

Board Election

In line with the VMBA Bylaws, the Board published a slate of candidates for the Membership to vote on two weeks before the Annual Meeting. This included the recommended reelection of two Board Members wrapping up their first terms – Quinn Keating and Tara Mirakian – and three candidates for the one open seat vacated by Tim Meyer.  First and foremost, huge thanks to Tim for his contributions to VMBA, including a major revamp of our Ambassador Program and significant work on our Fundraising and Marketing committees. We’ll miss you Tim!

Our newly elected Board Chair, Cheryl Bronowski, shared that with 140 ballots received, both Quinn and Tara were overwhelmingly reelected (99% of votes) and that Steve Letendre would step into the open seat (62% of votes). Welcome Steve!
