Brownsville Butcher & Pantry

The true beginning of this story dates back to nearly half a century ago, in the center of a quaint Vermont village where town gossip ran faster than the neighbor’s brand new Chevy C10 pickup. With so much to say in so little time, we’re skipping ahead to a new chapter in this narrative, one that begins in December 2017 with Lauren Stevens and Peter Varkonyi plotting out their long-time dream of owning a business under the name, Butcher & Pantry.

Butcher & Pantry’s Action Plan for COVID-19 in Our Community

Brownsville is known for joining together and thriving in times of uncertainty. Brownsville Butcher & Pantry is dedicated to upholding that standard and assisting the community at large with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the current climate of global health, and needing to do our part to keep our community healthy and strong, Butcher & Pantry is now offering delivery of prepared foods as well as necessary household items and groceries, within a 5-mile radius of Brownsville Butcher & Pantry. This service is intended to assist the high-risk, immunocompromised population as well as anyone self-quarantining per CDC recommendation.
