Pulling Together

The 1st Annual Ride for Del will take place in the beautiful Green Mountains on September 14th. REGISTER HERE Participants will be rewarded with spectacular single track, steep technical climbs and epic descents. The 20 plus mile route begins at Sleepy Hollow Ski and Bike center in Huntington, exits through the back of the Sleepy Hollow trails, goes into and out of the Hinesburg Town Forest and through the Carse network... and then returns all the way back to Sleepy Hollow. Ibis Winner - Mark Thayer!

Mark is a VMBA member residing in Beverly, MA and rides in Vermont often. After sharing the good news, VMBA board member Tom Dacres had a chance to catch up with Mark who was beyond excited. Mark had his eye on a Ripley for a while and was about to pull the trigger on the purchase, but decided to hold out for the VMBA raffle. He admitted it was a long shot, but decided to wait. Festival Recap

Building our community at STAB... Brought to you by Darn Tough, Ride'em Hard in Vermont! Riders had a great time at the Vermont Mountain Bike Festival this year at Ascutney Trails. Eight different bike companies, sweet weather, awesome trails, food, music, games, vendors, and of course, Mountain Bike Olympics made for an amazing time. Since hosting the festival last year, the Sports Trails of the Ascutney Basin (STAB) has been receiving some well deserved attention.
