SUMMARY:VMBA Days - Burke Mountain & Kingdom Trails
DESCRIPTION:The VMBA Days series is coming back for its sixth season with some new great additions. We’re beyond excited to welcome back Lawsons Finest Liquids as the presenting partner of the series. We’re also happy to welcome POC as a supporter of the series as well. \nFor DH\, we are bringing back our ‘New to DH’ and ‘Show Me Around The Resort’ group rides. These will be led byVMBA Ambassadors. At each stop we will also have a Community Builder partner that will lead their own group rides. Signing up for group rides secures a raffle ticket for the day. For this stop we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Kingdom Trails Association. Not only do you get a chance to win the rad items below\, you will be supporting two great organizations! \nAt each stop of the series we have great activities throughout the day. At Burke we are lucky to have a little bit of everything. From getting the basics from a Burke coach\, setting up your suspension to get yourself dialed\, and a race down Enchanted Forest. Then at the end of the day Lawsons will be hosting an on-site Aprés and providing a limited amount beverage tickets to people who purchase $20 or more of raffle tickets (while supplies last). During the Aprés\, we will also pull the winners of the raffle! \nFollowing Saturday at the resort\, we’ve teamed up with the local trail stewardship organization to host a trail ride day on Sunday! For our first stop at Burke\, we will be riding Kingdom Trails’ East Haven network and Darling Hill from the Wildflower Inn on Sunday the 7/12/26. These will be great opportunities to ride new single track with the local riders and trail builders. \nPlease see below for a full breakdown of the activities\, timing\, prizes\, and other rad things we have in the works. With limited space available\, make sure to secure your spot on a ride. SUMMARY:BIPOC Outdoor Festival
DESCRIPTION:The BOF was created for members of the BIPOC community to gather\, try new outdoor recreation activities or enjoy old ones in a supportive\, affirming environment and to build community. The festival is held at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center and there is no cost to attend. \nThis year’s activities include: \n\n\nMountain biking \n\n\nTrail Running \n\n\nNutritionist \n\n\nPaddleboarding \n\n\nBiathlon \n\n\nCanoeing \n\n\nYoga \n\n\nKayaking \n\n\nNature walks w/flora and fauna identification \n\n\nSwimming \n\n\nSome of these will be group activities\, with instruction and equipment provided. Activities will be led by BIPOC instructors as well as white instructors who share a sense of making space for BIPOC in outdoor adventure sports. \nCommunity partners and food vendors will also be in attendance. We strive to keep the event rooted in the BIPOC community by collaborating with BIPOC-owned businesses and organizations who support making the outdoors a welcoming space where BIPOC feel a sense of belonging. \nThe festival will start at noon and go to 5:00pm  with activities running from 12:30-3:30pm followed by a social hour.
