SUMMARY:VMBA Days - Bolton Valley
DESCRIPTION:The VMBA Days series is coming back for its sixth season with some new great additions. We’re beyond excited to welcome back Lawsons Finest Liquids as the presenting partner of the series. We’re also happy to welcome POC as a supporter of the series as well. \nFor DH\, we are bringing back our ‘New to DH’ and ‘Show Me Around The Resort’ group rides. These will be led byVMBA Ambassadors. At each stop we will also have a Community Builder partner that will lead their own group rides. Signing up for group rides secures a raffle ticket for the day. Not only do you get a chance to win the rad items below\, you will be supporting trails! \nAt each stop of the series\, we will also be hosting a fun activity specific to that resort. At Bolton Valley we will be doing a dual slalom\, scavenger hunt and more. After everyone gets their riding in\, Lawsons will be hosting an on-site Aprés and providing a limited amount of beverages to raffle ticket purchasers. During the Aprés\, we will also pull the winners of the raffle! \nPlease see below for a full breakdown of the activities\, timing\, prizes\, and other rad things we have in the works for this stop. With limited space available\, make sure to secure your spot on a ride. We are excited to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Please consider a donation in addition to your registration. Every dollar\, every rider\, every shared moment contributes to breaking the stigma and providing support. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase – Cash or Venmo \nWe will gather for a group photo at 8:55\, followed by an inspiration by AFSP speaker. At this time\, we will also review important ride and event information \nRiders will leave in waves. Great Eastern Radio will announce and send off each wave starting at 9:10 for the 45-mile route\, 9:15 for the 30-mile route\, and 9:20 for the 19-mile route. \nSafety is our first priority. Please obey the rules of the road\, ride on the right side of the road\, stop at lights/stop signs\, and use hand signals when appropriate. Helmets are required\, and a red taillight is strongly recommended. Always ride within your limits of control. \nThere are 2 aid stations along this route. One at the Frost Beer Works primarily for the 45mile riders at mile 15. The second aid station is in the Pavillion at Morse Park/Dog Park on Pond Road in Monkton\, which will serve all riders. Earls Cyclery will be on route with the sag wagon to provide mechanical support pre ride and during the ride. \nPlease load route on your GPS.
