DESCRIPTION:The VMBA Days series is back for its Sixth season with the help of Lawson’s Finest Liquids and our partner resorts! Come ride DH with us! \nThe VMBA Days series is coming back for its sixth season with some new great additions. We’re beyond excited to welcome back Lawsons Finest Liquids as the presenting partner of the series. We’re also happy to welcome POC as a supporter of the series as well. \nFor DH\, we are bringing back our ‘New to DH’ and ‘Show Me Around The Resort’ group rides. These will be led byVMBA Ambassadors. At each stop we will also have a Community Builder partner that will lead their own group rides. Not only do you get a chance to win the rad items below\, you will be supporting trails and getting everybody outside! \nAt each stop of the series we have great activities throughout the day. At Killington we are lucky to have a packed day. We will have our classic ambassador rides\, free timed racing down Rabbit Hole (Bike Bum Course)\, and wraping things up with a party lap. Then after the party lap we roll into the Lawsons Aprés. They will be providing 20 beverage tokens to the first people who purchase $20 or more of raffle tickets. VMBA Ambassadors will be doing the New to DH ride and Thunder Ambassadors will be doing ‘Show Me around the Resort’ rides all day. At each stop we will also have a Community Builder partner that will lead their own group rides. Signing up for group rides secures a raffle ticket for the day. For this stop we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Kingdom Trails Association. Not only do you get a chance to win the rad items below\, you will be supporting two great organizations! \nAt each stop of the series we have great activities throughout the day. At Thunder we are lucky to have a little bit of everything. From getting the basics from a Thunder coaches on Saturday\, race the Friday before and Laps all weekend long . Then at the end of Saturday Lawsons will be hosting an on-site Aprés and providing a limited amount beverage tickets to people who purchase $20 or more of raffle tickets (while supplies last). During the Aprés\, we will also pull the winners of the raffle! \nFollowing Saturday at the resort\, we’ve teamed up with the local trail stewardship organization to host a trail ride day on Sunday! For our fourth stop at Thunder\, we will be riding NEMBA’s own Deerfield River Trails and Hawley Forest/Kenneth Dubque State Forest on Sunday the 8/16/26. SUMMARY:Double Down DH - Bolton Valley
DESCRIPTION:You asked\, and we listened. We’re throwing our hat in the ring and kicking off a downhill race built for the biggest and the best this August 15th & 16th. \n\n\n\n\n\nDrop in for the Double Down Downhill at Bolton Valley\, a full weekend of lift-served racing designed for riders who want to go fast\, push limits\, and send it. \nTaking place August 15–16\, 2026\, this event is all about dialing your line and committing when it counts. Day one is qualifiers\, where riders will lay down their fastest runs to earn a spot in finals. Day two is finals\, same course\, higher stakes\, and one more shot to put it all together. \nRegistration starts at $90 through 5/13 and includes entry to the race plus lift access for both days\, regardless of whether you qualify for finals. That means more laps\, more time to fine-tune your approach\, and a full weekend of riding no matter what. Professional timing will be provided by Eleven11 Timing to keep things tight and competitive. \nCategories include Pro Men\, Amateur Men\, Pro Women\, Amateur Women\, Grom Boys\, and Grom Girls. \nFree camping will be available in the lower lots all weekend\, making it easy to settle in and stay close to the action. If you’re looking for a little more comfort\, on-site lodging is available just steps from the lifts and can be booked in advance. Off the bike\, expect a mix of high-energy racing and laid-back bike park vibes\, with music\, food\, and plenty of time to hang in the village after a full day of riding. \nBring your bike\, your gear\, and everything you need to ride hard for two days. Feel free to bring your chairs and snacks and leave them at Old Spokes while you ride. \n7pm: Doors\nOur sponsors and community partners will be tabling – come chat with Radical Adventure Riders\, Local Motion\, The Center for Research on Vermont\, Burlington Bike park\, and more! Drinks from Zero Gravity available by donation and the popcorn machine will be running. \n7:30pm:\nShowtime! We’ll start with a related short film Able before showing the feature presentation Best Day Ever. \nIf you’ve yet to see the local film Best Day Ever\, you’re in for a treat! This documentary follows adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they tackle the daily challenges of disability—and find joy\, connection\, and belonging in Vermont’s mountain biking community.
