SUMMARY:UVMBA Group Ride
DESCRIPTION:Trailforks Rideplan: https://www.trailforks.com/ridelog/planner/view/412608/ \nWe’ll start from the Naturewalk trailhead and make our way up to Craft Peak via Burnt Pathway\, Craft Climb\, and This Will Destroy You (hitting Rake Loop and Plate Loop on the way). We will descend via Explosions In The Sky and return to Naturewalk via Olivia’s and Craft Climb. \nNot to say it is without rocks and roots\, but the Craft side of B-Lot is smoother and less technical. Aside from the rock garden on Craft Climb and TWDY\, it should be pretty easy going. \nI would rate this ride as beginner/intermediate.

SUMMARY:2023 Black River Grand Prix
DESCRIPTION:The Black River Grand Prix is back! Join Craftsbury Outdoor Center on Saturday\, June 10\, 2023 for the Black River Grand Prix\, a celebration of fast racing\, big loops\, varied terrain\, and fun on bikes in the woods. The format is simple: Sunday is a mass start on one big lap. This ain’t XCO\, this is VT mountain biking – flow\, tech\, jank\, doubletrack\, and even a dirt road or two – there’s something for everyone. \nRace Info \nThe 2023 Black River Grand Prix field will head off at 9am on a ~25k (~16mi) course featuring nearly all the riding the Center has to offer. The race never loops back into the stadium\, so once you’re gone\, you’re gone (though we will have a spot close by where you can stash feeds). First one back wins. We’re playing it close to the vest when it comes to the course layout\, but rest assured almost all of it will be fun (what’s a race without a little suffering\, right?). \nPrice & Registration \nRegistration is now open at BikeReg.com \nSunday’s Grand Prix will be $40 for open racers\, $25 for current college students\, and $20 for juniors (ages 18 and under). $12 of every open entry fee will go towards prize money for the open category ($3 to the male and female winners\, $2 for second place\, and $1 for third place). Juniors are only eligible for prizes\, not cash. \nInterested in what the race might be like? Check out the 2022 Black River Grand Prix Race Guide

SUMMARY:UVMBA Group Ride
DESCRIPTION:Trailforks Rideplan: https://www.trailforks.com/ridelog/planner/view/410570/ \nWe’ll start from Naturewalk and make our way up to Burnt Mtn via Burnt Pathway and OSB. Then we’ll get into the goods with Robs to Spiny on our way up to the quarry. Afterwards we’ll descend Warrior Princess. Going up GOAT is the worst thing ever so we will take the sidewalk for several minutes before dipping back into the woods. We’ll end with Quarry Red to Andy’s Candies\, Canyon\, and Hardwoods. \nWarrior Princess has steep and committing lines interspersed with mandatory features\, so be prepared to walk your bike. \nI would rate this ride as advanced.
