This first annual fundraiser for the Ridgeline Outdoor Collective’s Youth Program will take you across virtually all of the Randolph trail network. The roughly 20 mile adventure will start and finish at The Gear House and link up classic singletrack\, local favorites\, flow trail and some spicy new downhills. ALL profits will be put directly to Ridgeline Outdoor Collective’s Youth Program to foster skills and stewardship among the youth in our cycling community to keep building the stoke for years to come. \nAfter Party: We know you really want to hear about the after party! Simply log back into your BikeReg account and change the rider information to your replacement before registration closes prior to the event. \n  \nSlab City Info: \nAre you wondering where the term Slab City comes from? Back in the late 1800’s Randolph was referred to as Slab City because of its robust lumber industry. It still has a few small mills that supply locally sourced lumber for the community. In addition\, local mtb guru Paul Rea ran Slab City Bike and Sports in Randolph when Vermont mtbing was taking off in the early ‘90s. Randolph hosted the New England Mountain Bike Festival for 5 years in the 90’s and helped lay the groundwork for Vermont’s amazing mtb scene we all love today! We’re excited to be bringing back “Slab City” again in 2022!  We can’t wait for this fun event & we hope you join us on Aug 7th \nStay up to date with all of the Slab City Trail Challenge information by following Ridgeline Outdoor Collective on instagram and facebook! \n  \nTentative event route \nhttps://www.trailforks.com/ridelog/planner/view/295320/ \nEvent Registration: \nhttps://www.bikereg.com/54771

SUMMARY:BIPOC Ride w/ Izzy
DESCRIPTION:Izzy Johnson\, VMBA’s DEI Coordinator\, will be hosting a BIPOC mountain bike ride this coming August 18th at Saxon Hill! This no-drop\, intermediate-level ride will roll out at 6pm\, though we’re encouraging folks to arrive closer to 5:30 to get to know everyone a bit beforehand. Meet at the main Saxon Hill parking lot (https://www.trailforks.com/poi/6124/)\n\n\nThis will be a space where people can have fun and celebrate one another and take up our space in the outdoor world. BIPOC folks are not adequately represented in the mountain bike & outdoor recreation world – help us say “hey we really are out here” and celebrate and encourage more diversity out on the trail! We hope to see you at Saxon!\n\n\n***This is a ride for those who identify as Black\, indigenous\, or as a person of color. Hope to see you out there!
