DESCRIPTION:Join WCOTA for a spring fat bike event at Magic Mountain! Bring your own bike or take a rental bike for a spin…the terrain available to ride will be dictated by conditions at the time\, but you can expect trails on the mountain as well as the surrounding area too. Join a group ride or explore on your own with a $10 trail pass-all proceeds will benefit the Windham County Trails Alliance (WCoTA). Enjoy some beers from Upper Pass Brewery while you browse the items for bid in the Silent Auction to benefit WCoTA too! And we challenge you to test your skills in the Bunny Hop competition to win a prize basket full of goodies…After a day of fat biking fun be sure to get a ticket for the music line up sponsored by Upper Pass Brewery. \nStay tuned as we will be updating the events for the day as things are added!

SUMMARY:Winterbike Fatbike Festival
DESCRIPTION:Kingdom Trails and Mountain Bike Vermont have partnered once again for the 8th annual WinterBike Fatbike Festival on March 2\, 2019. The year brings the largest Winterbike yet: more pedaling people\, more groomed trails\, more festivities\, more fun! \nRegistration for the event gives you access to the Kingdom Trails network and all Winterbike activities on Saturday including group rides\, fatbike demos\, lunch and beverages\, music\, fire\, games\, race spectation\, and swag! \nFRIDAY PRE-REG PARTY: We will host a pre-registration checkin & social on Friday March 1st at the Burke Mtn Hotel and Conference Center. Plan to show up between 6:00 and 8:00pm for early registration and pre-gaming! Yup\, skip the Saturday morning lineup and head straight into the event! \nDEMO FATBIKES will be available from the vendors in the Expo area for 45 minute rides throughout the day on a first come first served basis. Demo loops will be signed and be an optimal length for a perfect 45 minute “ride it like you stole it” demo experience. \nShops attending will offer Demos and/or rentals. You’ll be able to contact your favorite shop in advance of the event to procure a steed to use all day. Details and prices will vary per vendor. \nTHE REMOTE AID STATION: In keeping with tradition\, MTBVT will be hosting the aid station with the usual local delights and personalities. \nTENTATIVE SCHEDULE – as the day approaches we’ll be adding details of the event. Timing is subject to change based on the forecasted temperatures for the day.
