DESCRIPTION:The Stowe Trails Partnership\, in collaboration with Mountain Bike Vermont\, is stoked to present Vermont’s favorite mountain bike tradition: the Leaf Blower Fall Classic Mountain Bike Festival. This year’s Leaf Blower is going down on Saturday\, October 6 and will be based out of Ranch Camp on Mountain Road. With group rides\, vendors\, home grown food\, local libations and live music\, there is simply no better way to cap off the season than with this one-day celebration of bikes and community.

SUMMARY:VTYC Series #2 Cochran's Ski Area
DESCRIPTION:Join VT Youth Cycling for some awesome races for middle and high school-age athletes. Courses average 5KM in length and offer a variety of fun and flowy descents\, great singletrack\, and a bit of climbing to earn all that fun downhill! Lap numbers will increase from 1-4 depending upon grade. \nRace #2 at Cochran’s ski area has quickly become a local favorite destination for great trails and an outdoor community hub. The course will start near the ski lodge and have a grassy start loop leading to a smooth singletrack climb. Riders will wind their way to the top of the T-bar lift where they are treated to some bermed corners and smooth downhill which will cross the ski hill and return riders to the start area on a mix of singletrack and flow trail. The race course will hit some fantastic closer to home trails\, but there is more than a full day of riding to explore at this great venue. Come for the whole morning of races and cheer on these enthusiastic young riders! Parents are encouraged to contribute to the festival atmosphere by bringing a tent and food for your riders. DESCRIPTION:The Vermont stop in the 2018 NYCROSS Series is hosted by the Bennington Area Trail System (BATS) and Peak Racing Gear Works Cyclery. The course features plenty of grass and natural obstacles – including a vast sand pit – all set in a classic New England surrounding. The park is family friendly with two playgrounds\, walking paths and a BMX course.
