With amazing riding for all ability levels\, awesome vendors\, homegrown food\, local libations\, and live music\, there is simply no better way to cap off the season than with this one-day community bike bash. \nAs always\, the marquee draw will be the rides\, tackling some of the northeast’s best terrain and affording some of Vermont’s most epic views—whether you’re an endurance-guru or a newbie-never-pedaled-before\, we have charted a singletrack loop for you\, that’ll pass multiple aid stations\, and maximize the fun! \nNEW FOR 2023 – Join us Friday evening at The Backyard (across the lot from Ranch Camp) for a pre-registration party! OMG!!!! Wheeeeew! We got a bit carried away there. OK\, only some of that is true (food\, drink\, tunes\, photo-booth) but we guarantee the amazing remote party part! \nAnd after you’ve gotten your share of single track and remote party vibes\, adjourn back to Ranch Camp HQ for a catered cookout\, a few local brews\, music\, and the requisite telling of tall tales around the campfire. Your registration fee covers the rides\, vendor garden\, snacks\, a post-ride beverage\, dinner\, a limited edition signed print\, and entry to the after party! \nRegister early because we expect the event to sell out. Plus you’ll save some bucks and we’ll sleep better knowing you’ll be attending. SUMMARY:VMBA Member Party
DESCRIPTION:What a wild season it’s been! From an early dry start to the wettest summer on record\, we’ve poured our hearts into our local communities and the trails we steward. To show our appreciation to all our amazing members\, volunteers\, and partners\, we’re throwing a Member Party and Season Celebration at Saskadena Six!  \nThis isn’t just any party; it’s a riding party! Starting at 11am\, we’ll kick off the day with group rides departing from the Mt. Peg & Aqueduct trailheads\, led by VMBA\, WAMBA\, WTB\, Velocio\, and Julbo. Check below and on Eventbrite for all the details. \nAt 2pm the party begins in earnest at Saskadena Six. The trails will open back up to the general public and we’ll have free E-bike demos from Specialized and Bosch\, available alongside our Chapters’ tents next to the S6 base lodge. At 3:30pm\, VMBA will lead intermediate and advanced group rides from the base. Be sure to register for the group rides through Eventbrite. We want to make sure we have a headcount and don’t leave without you! \nAs the sunlight wanes and after everyone’s had their fill of riding\, we’ll head into the base lodge for food and fun. Starting at 4:30pm\, swing by the VMBA welcome tent to collect your food & beverage ticket. We’ve teamed up with Trail Break\, Lawsons\, and Stowe Cider to treat every VMBA member to two tacos of your choice and a complimentary adult beverage.  \nAt the VMBA welcome tent\, you can also grab your raffle tickets for the evening. We’re  giving away a RockShox fork\, a year’s supply of Cabot cheese\, Julbo sunglasses\, a VT Huts trip package to Richmond\, $300 Gift Cards to Velocio\, FiveTen shoes\, and more!  \nInside the base lodge\, we’ll also have partners from this season\, music\, and showcase some of the highlights from the past year. At 7pm\, we’ll be screening a few short films that VMBA & Lawsons helped support\, including a sizzle reel from Alex Showerman’s video “Coming Home” and full edit of Myles Trainer’s “Back to the Roots.” After these rad films\, we’ll give a  little year-in-review before we announce the latest round of Naming Grants\, Rewards Volunteer Grand Prize winner\, and the raffle drawing.  \nMake sure to secure your ticket for the event so we can plan accordingly!Tickets are limited and you must have one to attend.  Don’t miss your chance to end the season on a high note!  \nFor VMBA Members\, your ticket to our epic Member Party is on the house! Come celebrate the season with us for free (ticket still required!). If you’re not a member\, no worries – you can still join the party by becoming a VMBA Member or\, if you prefer\, you can grab a non-member ticket through Eventbrite and jump right into the fun! Tickets are $20 for adults \,$10 for kids 12 and under. \nA major shout out to our partners that will be supporting us for this fun event! We couldn’t have pulled it off without Trail Break Food\, Lawson’s\, Stowe Cider\, SRAM\, RockShox\, Mola Hoodies\, FiveTen\, Upstate Elevator\, SDR Clothing Co.\, Vermont Federal Credit Union\, Trash Co.\, Cabot\, Julbo\, and – of course – our Members! \nIf you want to make it a full weekend\, we also have several lodging deals for Members.  \nVMBA Members Lodging: \nSaskadena Six: Camp in the parking area Saturday night for just $25. Email s6info@woodstockinn.com with your full name\, contact info\, and the make & model of the vehicle. Tents are also welcome.  \n506 On The River Inn: 10% Off your reservation.
