DESCRIPTION:The Vermont Adaptive Charity Challenge is an annual event to enjoy the beauty of Vermont through cycling\, mountain biking\, paddling\, and hiking\, all while raising funds for the state’s largest nonprofit organization committed to providing sports and recreation to people with disabilities.\n\nMultiple road bike ride routes loop through the towns of Killington\, Pittsfield\, Bethel\, Barnard\, Woodstock\, Ludlow\, Bridgewater\, and Plymouth\, Vermont.\nOr you can choose to mountain bike\, hike\, paddle\, or do a gravel ride.mThen celebrate with us in the afternoon with live music\, food trucks\, a silent auction\, and more!\n\nThe monies raised from this event support the adaptive programs and athletes of Vermont Adaptive year-round. It is also used toward scholarships – Vermont Adaptive never turns anyone away based on their ability to pay.\n\nWe hope you can join us for a fantastic day of friendship in support of adaptive sports!

DESCRIPTION:We are kicking off our VMBA Day Series in Killington! Presented by Zero Gravity Brewing – the third season of our VMBA Days should be our best yet! \n  \nSaturday\, June 17th: \nWe’ve partnered with Vermont Adaptive and their Charity Challenge on Saturday\, 6/17\, to host their mountain bike segment. The group rides are led by VMBA Ambassadors and our Chapter\, Killington Mountain Bike Club. The mountain bike segments are: \n10am-12pm Base Camp Group Ride – Advanced Terrain  \n11am-12pm Gifford Woods & Sherburne Trail – Novice Terrain \nVisit Vermont Adaptive’s website to learn more about the Charity Challenge and to register.  \nAfter the Charity Challenge\, meet us at the Charity Challenge After-Party at Killington Resort from 12-5pm. Learn more about the After-Party on VT Adaptive’s website. Please note that there is an After-Party suggested donation for those who are not participating in the Charity Challenge. \n  \nSunday\, June 18th: \nOn Sunday\, 6/18\, we will head to the Killington Mountain Bike Park! Join our VMBA Ambassadors for Group Rides and for timed runs down lower Rabbit Hole from 12-2pm. Don’t forget\, your VMBA Membership comes with a complimentary DH MTB ticket to Killington Resort – this is a great way to use it! \nOur Vendor Village will be set up at the base\, where you’ll find our VMBA Tent\, Community Builders\, and Partners. Don’t forget to pick up a VMBA Day Raffle ticket at the VMBA Tent – we have some incredible prizes to give away!.  \nAll Group Rides will depart from the VMBA Tent. Please come 5-10 minutes before the ride starts; we will limit each ride to 15 riders. Pre-registration is encouraged to save your spot through Eventbrite.  \n11am – 12pm: Intermediate Group Ride \n1 – 2:30pm: Advanced Group Ride \nFor those wanting to race your friends\, we’ll be offering timed runs down lower Rabbit Hole from 12-2pm. Pickup your timing chip from the VMBA Tent and be sure to return it by 2pm. Results will be at the VMBA Day After-Party! \nOur VMBA Day After-Party with Zero Gravity will be happening from 4-6pm at the Umbrella Bar at the base! A portion of the beer sales will go to support VMBA – which means you’ll drink beer for a good cause.
