DESCRIPTION:Following Vermont Governor Phil Scott’s announcement that large events can be held during summer 2021\, Mountain Flyer Magazine and Ascutney Trails are excited to announce FLOW STATE\, the Vermont Mountain Bike Festival\, July 30-August 1\, 2021.\nFLOW STATE is a three-day celebration of all things mountain biking at the Ascutney Outdoor Center in Brownsville\, Vt. Set in the heart of Ascutney Trails’ 35-mile network of singletrack\, with access to an additional 20 miles of trail on private property\, FLOW STATE will feature product demos\, guided rides and clinics as well as camping\, food trucks and beer\, live music and more.\n“Since we last hosted a mountain bike festival in 2018\, our trail network has undergone a major renovation to enhance flow and increase signage to improve route finding\,” says Erik Schutz\, president of Ascutney Trails. “We’re stoked to show the mountain bike community our world-class trails.”\n“Vermont mountain biking is the best in the East\, and the bike industry is taking note\,” says John Costello\, Mountain Flyer events coordinator. “Plus\, our ridership in the Northeast has exploded in recent years. It’s time to bring a big festival back to the Green Mountains.”\nFLOW STATE organizers are formalizing plans\, bike vendors\, food trucks and sponsors for this summer’s Vermont Mountain Bike Festival. Early festival pass sales will be available to select New England markets on May 5\, 2021. DESCRIPTION:VMBA is heading south to catch some laps at Stratton. If you haven’t gotten a chance to use the free DH lift ticket from your membership. This is the day. \nStratton and VMBA will raffling off Stratton gift cards and doing group rides throughout the day. Just stop by the VMBA tent for info and raffle tickets. VMBA will also be selling memberships on the spot if you don’t have one and can use the free DH ticket that day. O and who can forget about our bike raffle for a Transition Sentinel! You can also get those tickets at the VMBA tent. \nGroup Ride Schedule: \n11:15 am – Take a lap with Stratton bike school instructors \n2 pm – Take a lap with Stratton’s very own Tony Bailey. \nPlease make sure to meet up at the VMBA tent to sign up before hand and be ready to depart at the time listed above.
