The Longest Day
The Longest Day is our second signature event to raise awareness and funds to fuel our work. On or around June 21, the summer solstice, participants host events and build teams to do what they love to support those they love. The solstice, the longest day of the year, is significant as we consider that for caregivers, every day feels like the longest day.
The actual event can be anything you love, from biking, sailing or hiking to playing bridge or board games, gardening, fishing or making art. Choose an activity and ask others to join you in participating or donating. Raise money with the tools available on The Longest Day website once your register. Hold your event, and join us on June 21 at our Rally On Church Street to celebrate! Events can take place on any day, as long as the funds are turned in by July 31.
