May 14 : Stowe Mountain Bike Club Membership Social
5PM ride – 7PM social at Pie Casso. Weather permitting, meet at trail head at iRide parking lot – Kick off the season with an easy ride or just come have a beer + pizza with friends, pay your dues and find out what’s going on.
May 28 : Trail Heads Kids Mountain Bike Program

June 6 : ADA's Tour de Cure
Saratoga Springs, NY, Tour de Cure is a multi-length fundraising ride for American Diabetes Association that is well organized and run. Lengths are set for short rides with family to more challenging metric and full century rides. This year's event is going out of Saratoga Springs HS. June 6 : Ride to Read Cycle Event
8:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Nashua, NH at the Nashua Adult Learning Center. We're proud to announce our 4th Annual Ride to Read Fundraiser. Join us for a day of cycling and walking to raise funds for the Adult Learning Center. Last years event was a huge success and we hope to make this years even better. A Clinic for women, ages 16 and up, designed to build woman’s mountain bike skills in a positive and supportive environment. These clinics are geared towards beginner/intermediate riders and cover the basics of gearing, shifting, breaking, body position, cornering, bike handling, riding obstacles, trail riding, and bike repair/maintenance.

July 9, 6:30pm : Suspension 101 at Onion River Sports
We’ll begin Suspension 101 with an overview of different types of suspension and terminology, including hardtails and full-suspension. Then we’ll cover assessing the features on your fork and/or rear shock, and learning how to use and adjust them. We’ll finish up with maintenance on your front or rear shocks, so that you get the most out of your ride through proper suspension setup.
July 10 : Heart of the Islands Bike Tour
A ride to support Local Motion—exploring the Champlain Islands farms and art studios this July 10. The Heart of the Islands Bike Tour offers cyclists of all levels the opportunity to explore Champlain Islands' farms, art studios, food venues, and vineyards during a leisurely (and spectacular) 10, 24, or 35-mile ride. $35 adult, $15 youth. Come join us for the inaugural trail run-mountain bike ORS Duathlon Series at Morse Farm! Race course starts with a 3k trail run, followed by a 15k mountain bike, and finishes with a 3k trail run. Course takes you through the ski trails, singletrack, forest, and fields of beautiful Morse Farm. All participants have a chance to receive raffle prizes, and awards for top individual and team finishers given at each race. Race fees: $25 individuals, $40 teams (don't have a team, but want one, let us know, we'll try to match up interested parties). Register for all 3 races on June 19th and save - $60 for individuals for all 3 races, $100 for teams for all 3 races.
July 17 - 18 : Third Annual Vermont Mountain Bike Festival
Waterbury, Vermont - All riders and all abilities welcome. This years events include: Group rides, kids rides, women’s rides, skills clinics, action workouts. Rides will take place on the trails in: Waterbury, Stowe, Waitsfield, and other area trails led by experienced local guides. Expect vendors, bike demos, live music, mountain bike movies, BBQ, on-site camping, raffles, and prizes. Registration opens spring 2010.
July 24 - 25 : Texas-hold'em tournament to benefit GrateFul Treads
The Snowshoe Lodge, Montgomery, VT. Poker Tournament registration 12 - 12:45pm, play starts at 1pm. Only 48 players to play. $40 dolllar buy in, paying back 65% to players. $5 high hand for the players. Benefitting the Montgomery Mountain Bike Association for trail maintenance. Call 802-933-2016 in advance or put in attending on Face Book to reserve a seat. Barbecue is extra and includes pulled pork, hot dogs, hamburgers, salt potatos, cole slaw, four bean salad, cottage cheese, and ect..... Its the Shoe it could be anything. Day time music outside is Blue Fox 2-5pm and the Stereofidelics from 8:30-12:30pm. You don't want to miss this all day event. The Shoe will be rocking. No cover charge.

Bringing music, Vermont brews, and mountain biking to the mountian! $20 Bike’n Brew admission (includes beer sampling tokens, commerative tasting glass, voting ballot, raffle entry). Bike in and get $5 off Bike’n Brew admission!

The 6th Hoosic River Watershed Ride will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Note: there will be a NEW LOCATION FOR START: Athletics Building at Southern Vermont College, in Bennington, VT. Race Details
August 29 : FJG Race to the Top of Vermont
9 am start for runners and hikers, 10 am start for bikers. The Race to the Top of Vermont is a 4.3 mile hill climb up Mt. Mansfield's scenic toll road. The course is .3 miles of paved road and 4 miles of dirt and gravel, with a maximum pitch of 10%. You can choose to run, mountain bike, or hike. There will be prizes for the top finishers and a post-race BBQ with a raffle and music! The race will be limited to the first 900 participants, so register early at http://www.catamounttrail.org/

September 26 : Vermont 50
2010 Online Registration opens May 25th @ 7 p.m. EST. Join the 20th annual Vermont 50 MT Bike or Ultra Run to ride or run 50 miles of beautiful, but challenging, Vermont back roads and trails. Held in late September, the Vermont 50 has become a favorite race for ultra-runners and mt. bikers alike. The mt. bikers love the technical single-track and challenging climbs. The runners love the back trails and open vistas. And everybody loves the great fall foliage, camaraderie among runners and mt. bikers, abundant aid stations, and the great party at the finish line.
